It hasn’t been too long since I started blogging at A Thrifty Penny with just the bare bones. Little by little I’ve been learning and adding things to the site. I’ve added e-mail subscriptions and RSS feeds, widgets, backgrounds and headers, and a facebook fan page. I’m still learning- hence why the blog doesn’t look perfect, but I think it’s at least navigable.
Thank you to all my family and friends who started following this little bitty (how fitting is that?) blog and to the 400 others who are visiting me here weekly. Thanks for letting me vent about rough days and for the encouragement you have given me throughout this difficult summer.
Blogging here has helped me in so many ways and hopefully A Thrifty Penny is helpful to you too. I want to create more of a blog that helps you learn how to use your money more wisely, not just a deals blog. I am planning to continue posting the Walgreens and CVS deals, as well as the best grocery deals for all of my East Texas readers. And of course there will be many more stories and antidotes about the kids. I even have a video of Turkey doing some cooking that is coming up this week!
