Quick Make at Home Convenience Foods for Breakfast and Dinner

We all love convenience but that doesn’t mean that you have to buy the expensive precooked pancakes, bacon or sausages, or seasoned chicken products. You can do the same at home with very little effort and will save lots of cash! You’ll also save lots of cooking and cleaning time.

Here are a couple of posts about breakfast foods and some ideas for simplified freezer cooking that you may find helpful. I mentioned yesterday in my homemaking plan that I was preparing a large
batch of taco meat and chicken. We did this yesterday afternoon so I’ve
got plenty of taco meat ready in the freezer as well as a few bags of
chicken that are ready to add to some chicken dishes. My husband also mixed up a large batch of pancake mix for a fraction of the cost that a box of pancake mix would cost.  It only took a couple of minutes and I can’t tell the difference in the taste!   If you’re not accustomed to making your own convenience foods at home, you’ll be surprised at how little effort it takes and the amount of money you’ll be saving!  Let me know what things you try!
