Crockpot Pulled Pork BBQ

Yesterday I made my first batch of crockpot BBQ pork.  I’d made BBQ pork many times, but always baked it in the oven.  This was the most delicious BBQ I’ve ever made!  Since I loved the outcome I’m sharing the recipe I came up with.

Ingredients:
for every 2 lbs or so of boneless pork tenderloin:
garlic salt
pepper
2 TBS minced onion
1/2 cup regular/original BBQ sauce (I used original K.C. Masterpiece)
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Put minced onion and water into crockpot and let them cook on low 20-30 mins.
Cut tenderloin into 1 lb. chunks.
Pepper tenderloin pieces to taste.
Rub tenderloin pieces completely with garlic salt.
Cook on low 6-8 hours, being sure to not open crock pot.
Remove tenderloin pieces and pull the meat after cooling a few minutes.
Remove all the broth from the crock pot.
Replace pulled meat.
Mix BBQ sauce and about 1/4 cup of the broth, then pour BBQ sauce/broth mix over meat and stir.  Add more of the broth to desired moisture level.
Cook on low for around 30 minutes to marinate.

See?  Super easy!  And it goes perfectly with this Easy Homemade Baked Beans recipe too.
