If you’ve been following my scenarios, you’ll be starting this week with a $2 RR from Scunci and a $3 RR from Tone.  If you are starting with no RRs, that’s ok, you’ll just pay $5.20 in the first transaction and still save 92%!

Warning: Walgreens is reporting little or no stock of several items.  Go early for your best shot!

Update:  I found
about 10 boxes of Crackerfuls at my favorite store this morning at 8:02
(they open at 8), however all but one were in a customer’s cart!  I
simply smiled and waited, as this is the store in town that customers to
1 or 2 transactions, depending on the manager in duty.  Sure enough,
within about a minute the manager was restocking the crackerfuls and
several illy coffee to boot! The manager confirmed that they wouldn’t be
getting any more crackerfuls, and that the smart rinse would not be in
stock either.  I also found one lone Aquafresh kids. By the time I left
the store, there were only 2 boxes of crackerfuls left on the shelf.

The
Applied Nutrition Q beeped and they wouldn’t override it because it was
producing a RR.  I wasn’t in an arguing mood, so I left it.  The coupon
clearly states “applied nutrition supplements” so the calcium should
qualify.  Hopefully your manager will agree. I don’t plan on going to
another Wags this week so I won’t be able to try and report back to you
on that.

Comments

  1. I had the same concerns. It’s definitely a kids toothpaste in the picture though. The only kids toothpaste I could find on the Wags site was the toddler boxed one. The one on the in ad Q is the stand up big kid one. This is what we’re looking for. http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/shop_product_detail.jsp?filterBy=&skuId=492962&productId=492962&navAction=jump&navCount=3 I’m not sure why it’s not on the walgreens site, but they don’t carry everything online. I think it’s a go, but like always- when we have our hands on a physical ad and we’re standing in the store with product and Qs we have to decide it all the early info we’ve gotten is accurate.

  2. Danielle says:

i had a question about the aquafresh kids toothpaste deal…it looks like on the ad (iheartwags.com has scanned pages of it) the .99 offer is on 4.6 or 6.4 oz toothpaste. isn’t the kids toothpaste 1.5 oz? from the looks on aquafresh’s website, i think that’s what the box reads. i’m afraid it won’t work…do you know if it will?

  3. Don’t forget to check on end cap displays. If this is a new product it may start there.

  4. Anonymous says:

i have a question about last transaction.. I only see you having 6 items but using 8 coupons. Please tell me if this will let me use all coupons

  5. Danielle says:

awesome! thank you. i looked for some today at one store but they didn’t have the kid’s kind…i’ll head to a different store tomorrow to check it out. :)

  6. Anon- the coupon for the diapers and the in ad Q for the Royal Gelatin are both Walgreens coupons, so they do not count towards the coupon total. Only manufacturer coupons count. If it makes you nervous, just take an extra box of gelatin with you to the register. Good luck.
