Does Couponing Take Too Much Time?

I’ve had many readers lately who have written me about it taking too much time and money to coupon.  Many are simply giving up on the coupons alltogether and are just taking advantage of the sales and RR/ECB deals that are available.  If that’s the case, you’ll still see a good amount of savings if you stockpile those items when they’re on sale. However, I’d like to remind you of how I organize my coupons because I think it may be just {Read More}

When you’re just starting out with couponing, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and burn out quickly (especially if you’re trying to do the binder system instead of whole inserts, but that’s another post). :-)I recommend that you start out playing the drugstore game at CVS or Walgreens and just pick a couple of items each week that are free or cheap to purchase.  If the scenarios I post are too elaborate, remember that I will write one with your shopping {Read More}

Faster Coupon Clipping Time Saver Tip # 20

This post may contain affiliate links.

I read somewhere years ago to use a ruler (wooden with a metal edge) as a straight edge and tear your coupons instead of cutting them.  It’s quick and easy, and you don’t have to worry as much about little ones getting a hold of your coupon scissors. Another idea for faster coupon clipping is to pay someone else to cut them for you.  I once had a very profitable side business of cutting coupons.  I don’t remember all the {Read More}
